The 32nd annual Tennessee Renaissance Festival starts May 6!

This popular festival, which transports visitors back in time to the village of Covington Glen and the sounds of Renaissance music and merrymaking, is held the first four full weekends in May, plus Memorial Day.

Visitors will see Queen Elizabeth rule over a full-armored joust, meet artisans and entertainers, enjoy rides and games of skill and try out savory and colorful treats. It's great for the whole family!

Each weekend features a special theme:

May 6-7: Opening Weekend

May 13-14: Artisan and Crafts Weekend

May 20-21: Pirate Invasion Weekend

May 27-28 and 29: Celtic Weekend

Tickets are $22 for adults and $8 for children (ages 6-12). Children 5 and under are free. Parking is free and there is a fun children's art and activity area. No pets are allowed. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors can take a ground floor only tour of the castle!

The festival is located off Highway 96 between Franklin and Murfreesboro at 2124 New Castle Road, Arrington, TN 37014.
