What began as an afternoon banjo pickin' contest in 1978 became the popular family event, Uncle Dave Macon Days and the annual festival is taking place this weekend!
The festival features a wide range of family-friendly activities, including arts and drafts, live music, a "Motorless Parade," children's activities, historic demonstrations and more.
Festivities begin at noon on Friday, July 7.
Admission is $10/adult per day. Children ages 12 and under are free.
