The holiday season is upon us! Get into the spirit with a family trip to see Nashville’s Nutcracker! One lucky Macaroni Kid family will win tickets!
This year's show returns to TPAC's Jackson Hall for 16 performances from December 2 - 23.
Nashville’s Nutcracker tells the story of young Clara and her Nutcracker as they visit magical lands inspired by the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition, including the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
“I added a few surprises for this anniversary year as a special way of saying thank you to the community for making us a part of their holiday tradition,” said Paul Vasterling, Nashville Ballet Artistic Director and CEO. “For the first time, it’ll snow on the audience during the iconic snow scene. Another big addition is the debut of a new youth cast role, the Dancing Bear Cavalry, which allows us to welcome even more young dancers on stage with us.”
Along with 54 members of Nashville Ballet’s professional dance company and second company, Nashville’s Nutcracker will include a youth cast of 296 young dancers from School of Nashville Ballet and the community at large—the largest youth cast in the company’s history.
