Notes from the Publisher

Two months ago, I lived in Michigan. I was a homeschooling momma of four children who barely had enough time to shower let alone do publishing on the side. Yet, here I am – living in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (still feels a bit strange to say that) and ready to start this new adventure of becoming a publisher mom for Macaroni Kid! Life has been a whirlwind of change for my family but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Things here in Tennessee are quite different than in the north. The weather, the traffic, the endless cotton fields and the people are so opposite of everything I knew in the north. I have met many wonderful and genuine folks since moving here in November. The polite gestures and kind words never go out of fashion. I’m glad that my children will be able to grow up in a place where good-mannered behavior and respect is the norm. Not to mention, there are activities galore here in Middle Tennessee to keep our family busy!
While some things have changed within our family’s day-to-day routines, we will continue to find new and exciting adventures to accomplish. It is my hope that Macaroni Kid will be a natural and productive tool to keep our family and yours involved in the community.
In the meantime, keep an eye out for giveaways, guides and a fancy business directory in upcoming newsletters on the website.I will be busy finding new businesses to work with and more events to keep your family occupied.
